Farm information: 

When Luis was 13 years old his father started growing coffee at Bella Aurora, named after Luis’s mother and the beautiful landscapes that surround the farm. Luis loved to help his father with the production of coffee as a child and after they returned to the farm following the civil war in 1991 it became a life long journey of learning for him as a coffee producer. His main incentive to start producing specialty coffee was to work with the Association of Cafe Especial de Nueva Segovia and with the Cup of Excellence, which he has been a winner of in the past. We have really fallen in love with Nicaraguan coffees recently as they provide such a great structure and complexity. Really dense coffee that have a lot of classic coffee characteristics but really clean and well balanced. A great option for those with or without milk.
