Farm information: Year after year, this coffee shines as the pick for espresso lovers. Classic chocolate notes, that carries nicely through milk or black and provides a nicely balanced cup profile with a lingering caramel sweetness. The Alvarez family have been growing coffee in El Salvador for over four generations. The rich soil that surrounds the Santa Ana volcano and mild climate provide the perfect conditions for growing high grade coffee. El Borbollon is made up of coffees grown at two farms, La Reforma an Santa Maria. The cherries are all hand picked between December and March. They are one of a few producers in El Salvador to have their own wet mill and drying mill which allows them to fully control the quality of their coffee from harvest to export. Each picking is separated by harvest day and varietal which provides better control to produce high quality coffees.
