Ethiopia Werka Natural - Espresso

Apricot Cranberry Pineapple

Grown near the village of Werka in Ethiopia’s West Arsi Zone (2,020 m above sea level), this coffee is naturally processed at the Gara Kone washing station, one of 26 managed by Testi Coffee, a family-owned company founded by Mr Faysel A. Yonis.

Part of Testi Coffee’s Premium Cherry Selection, the station prioritises top-tier quality, paying premiums for ripe cherries. Local farmers grow Arabica organically on small plots, benefitting from the region’s high elevation and cool temperatures, which produce sweet, complex coffees.

At the Aash washing station, families pass down knowledge of soil, sun, and rainfall, tending their trees with care. Over 750 smallholder farmers hand-pick each cherry at peak ripeness.

Naturally processed on raised beds under the Ethiopian sun, this coffee captures bright, fruit-forward flavours of tart cranberry, apricot, and pineapple. A celebration of Arabica heritage and family dedication, every cup distills the skill, care, and community of its farmers.
