Colombia - Finca el Mirador - Pink Bourbon

In the western mountains of Huila, near the river La Plata, a winding path leads to El Mirador, the farm of Marco Antonio and his wife, Diana Marcela. From their hillside home, the valley stretches wide below them, the river tracing silver lines through the landscape. 

Marco has spent 18 years in coffee, first learning from family and neighbours, and later discovering specialty coffee in 2018—a decision that transformed his life. With better prices came new possibilities: improving his home, caring for his family, and nourishing his coffee plants. Nestled between the Puracé Volcano and the snowcapped Nevado del Huila, his farm thrives in rare agroclimatic conditions that bring both peace and exceptional flavour.

Each batch begins with careful picking, same-day pulping, and a 24-hour fermentation—first dry, then cooled with water. After washing, the coffee drains briefly before drying in parabolic patios for 18–25 days, tended with patience and pride
