From the highlands of Gedeb Woreda in Ethiopia’s famed Gedeo zone, this washed heirloom lot comes from smallholders delivering cherry to Alemayehu Tilahu’s Lalesa washing station, perched at 2,150m. Alemayehu, a veteran in coffee and a 2020 Cup of Excellence winner, has built deep trust with his community, and his station reflects a shared commitment to quality and ecological harmony.

Grown beneath layered, shade-rich forest canopies and processed with precision, this coffee is a bright, elegant expression of Ethiopian terroir. Expect a medley of blackcurrant and nectarine, uplifted by orange blossom florals and softened by the gentle tannins of black tea. A clean, crisp and juicy finish lingers with balance and finesse.
