Golden Hour Filter
Our seasonal filter is crafted to be your reliable, perfect morning companion.
Grown in the protected forests of Guji, Ethiopia, Gotae Sodu Hambela FW Organic is a fully washed Grade 1 coffee with certified organic cultivation.
Smallholder farmers, more like stewards than conventional growers, harvest cherries from semi-wild coffee trees—many of which are unique to specific areas of the forest. This extraordinary genetic diversity leads to complex, standout flavours.
At 2,200–2,250 MASL, cherries are handpicked, fermented for up to 60 hours, and washed in clean mountain water before sun drying on raised beds. The result is a bright, clean cup with lively acidity and refined sweetness.
Operated by Abebe Mulugeta Kassa Genet, the Gotae Sodu washing station plays a crucial role in preserving traditional methods and the surrounding ecosystem. Guji coffees, once grouped with Sidamo, are now globally prized for their nuanced profiles. This lot is a true expression of Ethiopia’s coffee heritage—rich in biodiversity, history, and unmatched flavour.
" The components of this blend will change from time to time as the seasons go however we always aim to make a blend that is really approachable and versatile and a affordable price point."
We hope you love our third iteration of our everyday Golden Hour Blend for filter coffee lovers.
