Colombia Las hermosas (Flt)

Las Hermosas is less one farm and more a little coffee neighbourhood tucked beside one of Colombia’s biggest natural reserves. Lakes, rivers, cloud forest and a whole lot of wildlife surround the families who grow coffee here, which feels fairly magical before you even get to the beans. Caravela began working with producers in the area in 2020, but the nearest buying station was still a two-hour mission. So in 2022, they opened one closer to home. A small change, but a big deal for local families. In a region shaped by years of conflict, coffee is helping create steadier incomes, stronger farms and a future that feels a little more hopeful.
