This exceptional lot comes from the Huke washing station in Ethiopia’s Gedeo zone, located at 2,100 meters above sea level. Run by Testi Coffee, a family-owned business, it benefits from the ideal growing conditions of the region, including cool temperatures and fertile soils. The cherries are sourced from local smallholder farms in Banko Gotiti, Chelba, Chelchele, and Chelbessai, where farmers use organic methods and grow coffee alongside food crops.

Through Testi’s Premium Cherry Selection (PCS) program, only the ripest cherries are selected, ensuring high quality and clean cup profiles. At Huke, the cherries undergo meticulous processing – they are sorted, pulped, fermented in clean water, and dried on raised beds. The resulting coffee showcases the region’s distinctive floral, fruity, and complex notes, making it a standout offering.
