Guatemala La Union Pacamara Premium - Filter
Grown at 1,650–1,850m in the hills of Huehuetenango, Guatemala, this 100% Pacamara microlot from La Unión showcases vibrant notes of blackberry jam, raspberry candy, and pomegranate-like acidity. It offers a juicy mouthfeel and lingering sweetness.
The farm is owned by Carlos Rivas, a third-generation producer who revived the once-abandoned estate in 2017. Nestled near Agua Dulce, La Unión thrives thanks to high elevation, consistent rainfall, and nutrient-rich soil beneath shade trees. Coffee is handpicked and washed on-site, with meticulous care at every step—from selective harvesting and fermentation to slow drying on raised beds under mesh covers.
A Q Grader and Q Processing specialist oversee quality, while Carlos also partners with World Coffee Research to trial 22 different varieties.
This Pacamara lot is a testament to La Unión’s dedication to innovation and excellence, and an exciting example of Huehue’s growing reputation for complex, expressive coffees.
