The Imbachi Family’s impact on Caravela and the San Agustin coffee community is profound. Known for their dedication to specialty coffee, they exemplify quality and commitment.

Over the years, Carlos Imbachi has become somewhat of a "godfather" of specialty coffee in Huila and within Caravela’s producer partner network. 
While Carlos has stepped back from daily operations, he lives on the farm with his two sons, while his daughter, Sonia, manages a nearby farm with her husband.

Originally, each family member marketed their coffee under individual names. However, to streamline operations and minimize Colombia’s high taxation on separately branded lots, the family united under the name "Familia Imbachi." This decision has simplified their processes and allowed them to produce some of the highest quality coffees in Caravela’s portfolio.

Now, all Familia Imbachi lots showcase the collective expertise of the family, embodying their unified commitment to excellence in specialty coffee.
