Jaime Ventura's 3-hectare farm, located at 1700 masl in La Paz, Honduras, has 2.5 hectares dedicated to coffee. Inspired by his family's passion, he founded La Finca el Caimán in 2002, selling a calf to fund his first coffee plants. His coffee is dried for 20 days without depulping. Honduras, known for high coffee production, faces challenges with quality infrastructure, though small-holder farmers are gaining recognition through microlots and competitions.
