Black Tea Herbaceous Mandarin

Proceeds from every bag of this coffee sold will be donated to the Supporting Strong Women fundraising initiative. These funds will be used to build a new child care service at the washing station used by the members of the Rambagirakawa, a women's association of coffee producers under the Dukunde Kawa Co-operative. Accomplishing this goal will directly impact the women's productivity and prosperity, while also ensuring their children are cared for in a safe and happy environment.

Ubumwe which translates to“unity” is a washing station in Rwanda's Southern Province, owned by Buf Coffee, which processes 100% Red Bourbon coffee with meticulous care. Since 2017, it operates as a model farm of best practices to the local farming community with only 200 coffee trees. Managed by Edoine Mugisha and seven employees, operations include hand-picking ripe cherries, flotation tank processing, and meticulous sorting. After dry fermentation and soaking, beans are carefully dried on raised African beds for 10–20 days. At 11–12% humidity, coffee is stored until export, ensuring quality. On-site dry milling guarantees precise sorting and processing, maintaining the exceptional quality of Ubumwe's coffee.
